Our history
Our company was founded in 1960, from the experience and expanded vision of a great leader, Giovanni Paonessa, already an attentive expert and technician in the Automotive sector, a sector then in its infancy.
The incessant development and innovation activity have meant that the company has become a point of reference for numerous operators in the sector in Italy.
Determination and experience brought the then Paonessa Group also to South America. The company becomes Mec Tool and in a short time it sees its first three businesses flourish outside the Italian borders.
Today Mec Tool has a vision that places no limits on this development and intends to increase it more and more; through the union of forces and knowledge, through the creation of new partnerships, through the analysis of common needs, through the development of new realities.

Serving the customer on site for every need or emergency is the basis of our twenty years of experience. Guaranteeing a complete repair, maintenance and instrument calibration service with our teams of specialized technicians and our instruments allows us to guarantee a high quality full service.
Our mobile metrological laboratories offer a quick and efficient home service for companies that respect the quality standards imposed by manufacturers, offering calibration and certification of precision equipment and instruments throughout the country. The original spare parts and the management of our warehouses allow us to respond immediately to every need.
The company MISSION
When a new workshop is created, together with our client we design the best location of all the equipment within the premises, optimizing the work spaces to the maximum.
We propose and choose, together with him, the most suitable ones for the specific type of activity that will be carried out, carefully studying the passage and installation of all the systems such as fluid distribution, extraction and expulsion of exhaust fumes and compressed air. During the works on the new premises, our staff follows the progress of the operations together with our client's professionals, allowing greater fluidity of work, without delays or additional costs.
With each delivery of new equipment, we always take care to provide our customer with adequate instruction and training in use to allow him to use the equipment to its full potential. In the event of a breakdown, our Technical Assistance Laboratory is always ready to dispatch one or more technicians for repairs at our customer's home or in certain cases at our laboratory or even in direct remote connection from our laboratory to the workshop.
